A peculiar dream

$3,500.00

79w x 79h x 5d cm

Mixed media on Belgian linen

Stretched in a white L-slip frame

Signed on front

I drifted into sleep, only to find myself in a world both familiar and strange. The sky was a peculiar shade of lavender, the earth warm and soft under my feet, seemingly humming in rhythm with my own heartbeat.

As I ventured deeper into this surreal landscape, I encountered strange and whimsical buildings, patterns, glowing from the inside like wonderfully delicate inventions to fly or drive in.

I had a feeling of peace and joy, even of a childlike excitement. I began running and skipping through this beautiful landscape, becoming part of it. An all-encompassing embrace.

A beautiful and very special exhibition to visit by my dear friend and inspiring colleague, Libby Dunn.
Her work is filled with soul, strength, and stories that deserve to be seen.

There’s something about a flower at its fullest bloom - wide open to the world, unapologetically itself, vibrant and alive.

"Flower – Fully Alive" is a celebration of that moment.

Art is messy.
Much like life itself.

It doesn’t follow a straight line.
It’s layers built over layers - mistakes covered, colours colliding, textures shifting.
Sometimes it feels chaotic, uncertain, too much.
And sometimes, when yo

Sometimes, the world feels heavy.
Days stretch long, news weighs on us, and the road ahead looks unclear.

In those moments, it’s easy to feel small.

Sometimes, it feels like there are just too many feelings to hold.
Too many layers of emotion, too many moments stitched together in a single heart.
